MY FAITH HAS BEEN RESTORED-BY 5150 VOTES!!!
In my final post in the colelassalnews.weebly.com blog entitled “THIS IS THE END” detailed my prediction that “MAD” Matt Bevin would be reelected as Kentucky Governor on the strength of his negative attack ads and his ties to Donald Trump, his BFF. His entire campaign was based upon bashing Beshear and blowing Trump. Instead of focusing on the one positive of his tenure, the creation of tens of thousands of jobs to the Commonwealth as a result of attracting new businesses, he chose to instead make his campaign about immigration policy and how the Democrats were going to open the flood gates to MS 13 to pillage and rape across our borders at will. He chose to attack Beshear’s integrity and his law firm’s involvement with Perdue Pharmaceuticals instead of trying to mend the fences with teachers and union members, whom he has repeatedly disrespected and trashed throughout his tenure. He chose to try to tie Beshear to the extreme far left of the Democratic Party instead of focusing on how to improve Medicaid and healthcare coverage for needy Kentuckians, both of which he repeatedly has tried to slash or eliminate. He counted on a low voter turnout by Democrats like in 2015 when only 30% or so of registered voters bothered to cast a ballot. He was wrong on ALL counts. Donald Trump’s rally in Lexington Monday night actually worked against Bevin. One poll indicated he had a 5% lead over Beshear as recently as last week, which means that following the performance of CROOKED DONALD, MOSCOW MITCH, GRANDSTAND RAND and MAD MATT at Rupp his lead actually was effectively lost, resulting in the victory by Beshear by the slimmest of margins as noted in the headline. Bevin chose to tie his future political career to Trump’s coattails because he had little else going for him-he was the most unpopular governor in the nation polling about a 33% approval rating. In addition, I believe that Republikans captured every other office of note yesterday-Attorney General, Secretary of State and others. Trump himself said that Kentuckians would never make him look bad by defeating his proxy, but guess what-they did just that. Hats off to every single individual who cast their ballots for Andy Beshear. It was as expected the large cities in Louisville and Lexington that led the way for Beshear, but there was also unexpected strength in N Kentucky and eastern Kentucky, areas that Trump had carried by some thirty points in 2016. This is just another indicator of how the mood in the country regarding Trump is shifting dramatically with the ongoing impeachment proceedings detailing further evidence every day of his blatant abuses of power and the corruption of his administration. Urban areas and suburban districts have completely moved away from supporting him. Lastly, to those who voted for Bevin, almost half of the registered voters. If you tell me you voted for him as a result of his economic achievements I would understand. If you told me you voted for him on religious grounds or your position on abortion I wouldn’t understand but I would accept that. If you told me you voted for him because you love Donald Trump I’d question your judgment but accept that. If you gave me any other answer, I’d have to ask you what the FU*K is wrong with you?!? He has been an absolute embarrassment to our state on numerous occasions, is a mean spirited demagogue wanna be with a serious Napoleonic complex that has no respect for working men and women and none whatsoever for women right’s as guaranteed by our Constitution. He has been less than truthful on numerous occasions and treated the media with utter disdain. (Anybody see his interview yesterday on MSNBC?!?) In short, his reputation preceded him-the worst and most unpopular governor the state has ever had. A true carpetbagger he chose to pick Kentucky to promote his own political agenda, just like GRANDSTAND Rand Paul. Now that he’s been defeated in a stunning upset, maybe he’ll go back and ring some more bells. All I can say is GOOD RIDDANCE, Matt. We’re glad to see you go. Oh, and BTW, next time you get a chance-THANK A TEACHER!!!! They carried this election for Andy Beshear, and now it’s time to hear their cries for help and take some positive action to help repair the damage wrought on our public schools by Bevin and his administration.

VOTE NOVEMBER 5th
In reading the election issue of the once proud Courier Journal Sunday it stated that the expected voter turnout for tomorrow’s general election in the Commonwealth is about 31% of registered voters. In other words, two out of three of your fellow Kentuckians can’t be bothered to vote to decide who will run our state for the next four years-the mean spirited beady eyed carpetbagger who has maliciously gutted social safety net programs such as Medicaid and healthcare, attacked women’s Constitutional right of choice, declared war on the teacher’s and other union members across the state and sold out to special interest groups or a man in Andy Beshear who as Attorney General has stood up for the average Kentuckian against this demagogue and his heinous policies. According to Joseph Gerth, the C-J political writer, people across the state from Pikeville to Paducah are too concerned about their own daily lives to even bother to understand the issues or where these candidates stand on them much less vote. What a sad sate of affairs, my fellow citizens. Very sad indeed. Apathy will be what ends up killing our democracy. Just as I predicted long ago, Bevin’s campaign is based upon two things-negative attack ads funded by out of state PAC money (the content of which is questionable in its accuracy to say the least!) stating that Beshear is “not one of us” and the support of Donald Trump, himself the most corrupt and incompetent buffoon to ever occupy the White House. Trump is scheduled to hold one of his so called campaign rallies in support of his BFF “MAD” Matt (he also calls Kim Jung Un, Vladimir Putin and other thuggish strongmen his BFF’s!) tonight in Lexington, believing his mere presence in our state will be enough to put Bevin over the top. He won the state by an overwhelming margin in 2016. This is what Bevin is counting on. That plus a thirty per cent turnout, which is the way he got elected in the first place four years ago. In reading the tweets in favor of Bevin, it seems the majority of people who are going to vote for him are basing their rational on religious grounds, that Bevin is a man of God and therefore must be the one. A man of God?!? The same man who has derided our hard working teachers, gutted Medicaid for tens of thousands of our most needy citizens and now elicits the support of Donald Trump, a man who is guilty on a daily basis of breaking at least half of the Ten Commandments!!! Trump lies, cheats, steals, has been guilty of numerous adulterous affairs, puts children in cages and has sold out our country in exchange for financial and political favors from our biggest enemies and our allies. And yet these God fearing Kentuckians believe he is a man of God??? Tell the truth-your entire support is based upon the abolishment of abortion. Period. A right that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled to be Constitutional. I urge all registered Kentucky voters, young and old and everybody in between to vote tomorrow. It doesn’t matter if you are Republican or Democrat; your participation in the electoral process is what democracy is all about. Think about how many of your fellow citizens have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country since the Revolutionary War that we may have the right to cast our ballot for our candidate of choice. Think about the plight of the teachers and your children’s education and their futures. Think about your aging parents who may be dependent upon Medicaid in order to survive. Think about all of the women in the state who are being denied their Constitutional right to freedom of choice. And think about the morality of a man who accepts with gratitude the support of an absolutely amoral POTUS in Trump. And then cast your ballot. For ANDY BESHEAR!!! The entire nation is watching Kentucky. Let’s show them that REAL Kentucky values reward hard work and sacrifice as well as the truth, NOT lies, misinformation and corruption. Do your duty. Make us proud for a change, instead of a laughing stock. Then we can move on to getting rid of the next political hack, MOSCOW MITCH!!! |
